Zarb-e-Azb Update: 1832 Displaced Families Return to Their Area

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                       






The return process of IDPs who had been displaced as a result of operation Zarb-e-Azb continues with full strength. About 1832 families have returned to their places in September/October in four agencies Orakzai, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, and Kurram.

Among them, 326 were from Orakzai, 920 from South Waziristan, 182 from North Waziristan, and 404 from Kurram agencies.

All IDPs are facilitated at return points and in camps by UNHCR through its sub-project FDMA.
